多摩オープンキャンパスリーダーズ

先日、会議のために多摩キャンパスを訪れた際、せっかくの機会だったので、キャンパスバスツアーとウォーキングツアーにも参加しました。暑い一日でしたが、参加して本当に良かったです。学生の目線から多摩キャンパスを見つめ直すことができ、何十年も前の自分の学生時代を思い出し、懐かしい気持ちになりました。やっぱり大学時代は、人生の中でも一番楽しかったなあ、としみじみ感じました。

今日出会ったオープンキャンパススタッフの学生さんたちは、まさに大学生活を全力で楽しんでいる姿が印象的でした。何より心を打たれたのは、彼らが取り組んでいる「仕事」への情熱と、多摩キャンパスや大学への深い愛情です。その情熱と愛情は周囲にも伝わってきて、私自身、改めてこの大学の一員であることを誇らしく思いました。

The other day, I visited the Tama Campus for a meeting. Since I had the chance, I also joined the campus bus tour and walking tour. It was a hot day, but I’m really glad I took part. Seeing the campus from the students’ perspective gave me the opportunity to rediscover it—and brought back memories of my own university days, now decades ago. Those university years were truly one of the most joyful times in life.

What left the strongest impression on me that day were the student open campus staff members running the tours. They’re truly making the most of their university life. Above all, I was deeply moved by the passion they bring to their “work” and by their love for the Tama Campus and for Hosei University. That passion and love are contagious. Thanks to them, I was once again reminded of how proud I am to be part of this university.
