本学専任職員向けの研修の一環として、昨年度に続き、ベトナムのハノイにある日越大学（Vietnam Japan University, VJU）と相互でインターンシップ研修を実施しました。本研修は、本学において大学経営における中心的存在として活躍できる人材を育成するため、2018年度から専任職員を対象に実施しており、今回で5回目の実施となりました（2020年度〜2022年度はコロナ禍により中断）。
日越大学は、ベトナム国家大学ハノイ校に属する7番目の大学として2016年9月に設立され、日本・ベトナム両国の大学が連携を取りながら運営されている大学です。現在は8つの修士課程プログラムと6つの学士課程プログラムが開設されています。本学は日越大学の連携校として位置づけられており、本研修を含め、これまでも職員同士の交流を重ねてきました。
今回の相互インターンシップ研修では、まず2025年8月3日（日）から8月20日（水）まで、入学センターの小松英里夏さんが日越大学での研修に参加しました。続く10月27日（月）から11月7日（金）には、小松さんがホストとなり、VJU職員3名（Duong Van Ngaさん、Nguyen Quynh Huongさん、Ngo Quang Truongさん）を本学に迎えました。 この受入れ研修は、VJUのスタッフディベロップメントプログラムの一環として実施されたもので、VJU職員が日本の大学における多様な管理業務の視察や実践的な知見を得ることを目的としています。
本学における外国人大学職員の受入れは昨年度に続き2度目となりましたが、今年度は派遣員数の増加および研修期間の長期化により、より多くの部局が本プログラムに関わることとなりました。国際部署以外の職員も積極的に協働したことで、大学全体として国際的視野や多様性への理解を深める貴重な機会となりました。
研修期間中、3名のスタッフからはベトナムの高等教育制度やVJUの特徴についての紹介があり、また、3キャンパスおよび付属高校への訪問を通じて、多様な部局との活発な意見交換が行われました。さらに、ベトナム語を学ぶ学生グループ「多摩シンチャオ！」や、オープンキャンパスで活躍する学生、本学に在籍する留学生との交流も実施され、学生・職員双方にとって国際交流の意義を再認識する場となりました。

VJUで過ごした2週間半で最も強く感じたのは、職員一人ひとりが自分の仕事に目的意識と誇りを持っていることです。学生のため、そして教育機関としての使命を全員が意識しており、時に意見をぶつけ合いながらも「大学を良くしたい」軸がぶれない姿勢に大きな刺激を受けました。私自身、日々の業務を通して自分の視点で発言する意識が芽生え、「考え続けながら働くこと」こそが、VJUの発展スピードの速さを支える原動力なのだと実感しました。
国や文化、言語、教育制度が異なっていても、大学職員としての思いは共通していることを学び、同じ志を持つ仲間に出会えたことは私にとってかけがえのない財産です。温かく迎えてくださったVJUの皆さんに、心から感謝しています。

During the program, I had wonderful experiences visiting various departments and observing how they cooperate efficiently. I also met dedicated professors in modern laboratories, and every staff member I encountered was professional, disciplined, yet so kind, friendly, and caring. I believe this reflects the strong working culture that Hosei has built over many years.
When applying for my visa, I searched for the President’s name and expected a very formal meeting. But when we met her in person, I was warmly welcomed. She asked about our daily life in Japan, our tasks at VJU, and even the challenges we face, giving careful guidance through her staff. That moment truly impressed me and made me feel deeply respected and honored.My heart is filled with gratitude for all the lessons and sharing from the departments at Hosei University. These experiences will surely help me in my future work at VJU, and I am eager to share what I have learned with my colleagues after this wonderful trip.

Participating in the Program was a truly special experience—one that I will remember for a long time. Over two enriching weeks, I immersed myself in Hosei’s academic environment, engaged in genuine cultural exchange, and built warm connections with faculty, staff, and students.
What touched me most was the spirit of Hosei students—proactive, confident, and open-hearted. Their eagerness to connect made every moment inspiring. I was also honored to meet the President of Hosei University, who kindly took time to welcome us despite her busy schedule. Her warmth showed Hosei’s true commitment to international friendship.
This program was not just an academic exchange—it was a journey of growth, connection, and heartfelt understanding. I return to Hanoi with new insights, beautiful memories, and deep appreciation for the bond between Hosei and VJU.

Throughout the trip, I observed from two perspectives—as a student and as an employee—to gain an objective understanding of Hosei’s departments, facilities, and working environment.
Through this dual perspective, I gained a lot of knowledge, insight, and inspiration, not only for my personal development but also for the improvement of VJU, where I currently work. I truly hope to apply these lessons in practice and contribute to my university’s growth.
Meeting and working with various departments, staff, and students at Hosei taught me valuable lessons about professionalism and meticulousness. Everyone I met was warm and friendly in daily life, yet highly dedicated and serious at work. Their careful planning, attention to detail, and accuracy are qualities I aspire to strengthen in myself.
It was also a great honor to meet President Diana Khor, who kindly took the time to meet us despite her very busy schedule. This business trip has been a meaningful and inspiring experience. I sincerely thank everyone at Hosei University for their warm welcome and thoughtful hospitality.
