日越大学（ベトナム）及び法政大学相互でインターンシップ研修を実施しました

本学専任職員向けの研修の一環で、2024年8月11日（日）から8月31日（土）の期間で、ベトナムのハノイにある日越大学でのインターンシップ研修に、施設保全部の鷲崎友希さんが参加しました。本研修は、大学経営における中心的存在として活躍できる人材を育成するため、2018年度から専任職員を対象に実施しており、今回で4回目の実施となりました（2020年度～2022年度はコロナ禍により中断）。

日越大学は、ベトナム国家大学ハノイ校に属する7番目の大学として、2016年9月に設立され、日本・ベトナム両国の大学が連携を取りながら運営されている大学です。現在は、8つの修士課程プログラムと6つの学士課程プログラムがあります。法政大学は、日越大学の連携校として位置づけられており、この研修を含め、職員同士の交流が行われています。

本研修中、鷲崎さんは、日越大学の教職員から、日越大学における様々な業務やプログラムについて説明を受けたほか、日越大学の授業にも参加し、その中で学生と共に工場見学や日系企業などの関連施設へ見学に行きました。文化が異なる日越大学の教職員との交流を深め、双方の業務における課題について、活発な意見交換を行うことができたようです。また、学生との交流を通じて日本に興味をもつ留学生のサポートのあり方についても考えることができたようです。

日越大学は国際化が進んでいるという強みがあります。国際化を推進する本学としても、今年度も専任職員を日越大学に派遣することができ、大変有意義な機会とすることができました。

また、2024年11月20日（水）から11月27日（水）にかけて、日越大学のスタッフディベロップメントプログラムの一環として、Cao Anh Duy（カオ・アイン・ズイ）さんの受入れを行いました。本プログラムは、日越大学として、日本の大学の多様な管理業務の視察と実践的な知見を得ることを目的に、本学に加えて立命館大学、早稲田大学の3大学で実施されたものです。

本学にとっては、初めての外国人の大学職員受け入れの機会であり、ベトナムの高等教育への理解を深めるとともに、本学の事務組織のグローバル化を推進する貴重な機会ともなりました。

本学での研修中、Duyさんからは、ベトナムの教育のシステムや日越大学について紹介をしていただき、その他、本学の様々な部局へのインタビューや、若手職員とのディスカッションも行いました。今回の受入れに関わった本学の職員にとっても、Duyさんとの日々を通して、大学のグローバル化について考えを深める時間を得ることができました。

日々の業務で感じていた疑問や戸惑いを、学外から見つめなおすことのできるとても貴重な3週間となりました。日越大学はさらに変化しており、過去最大の入学予定者を迎えるタイミングでもありました。新しい取り組みへ向かう教職員の皆さんの様子は、私も歩みを止めてはならないと気が引き締まる思いでした。JICAの皆さんや日越大学とご縁のある他大学の方とも交流できたことで、一職員としての自分の在り方、今後のキャリアパスについても見直す時間ともなりました。本研修で得た経験を積極的に学内でも共有し、法政大学の発展に少しでも繋がるよう精進したいと思います。

I’m excited to share my thoughts and reflections on the staff training program we completed. First of all, I would like to say thank you very much for the program. It's a great opportunity for me to visit one of the best universities in Japan, Hosei University, to join in many activities of sections, help me get an overview of how the University works. Overall, I found the experience to be both enriching and insightful, and I’d like to take a few moments to highlight what left an impression on me.

First and foremost, the training was incredibly well-structured. It provided a comprehensive overview of the University's activities, as well as specific activities of each section that I have participated in. In total 6 working days, I had a chance to meets many offices, to be introduced about them, how did they do to manage, support activities, career of students and staffs also, so that they can promote the University and contribute to Japan's development in general. Hereby are some offices and main activities that I collected:

1. Academic affairs Office: manage and support student academic activities of each semester
2. Faculty sections of Academic affairs office: admission activities as well as how to support students to apply for the University
3. Career center: job hunting and consultant, supporting students to find appropriate jobs.
4. Global education center: create environment to connect Japanese and non-Japanese student's activities: English classes, common spaces, Japanese cultural exchange, especially in using English as a communication method, student affairs activities: buddy system, scholarships, etc.
5. Human resource section: overview about career situation in Japan, particularly Hosei University, Japanese-style employment: membership type, and human resource development process.
6. Admission center: bring Hosei University's picture to worldwide, methods to approach students in Japan and specially for international students, how to support them with academic and their lives.
7. Educational Support Affairs Office: training student staff activities so that they can help other students in all activities, also promote University's image and admission, connect students and teachers.
8. Academic planning Office: background about Japanese population, economy, cooperation with universities, local government, and companies to attract students to join the University
9. Facility management office: facility system, procedures, and activities in procurement of equipment, assets and maintenance.

This training program left a strong impression on me was useful. They help me a lot about University's operation, so that I can learn and apply for the specific conditions in VJU. The way that your University operates this program is really detailed, and also the cooperation with other Offices, Sections. There’s always something new to learn from others.

In overall, I believe that the training has been a valuable investment in my development. It not only enhanced my knowledge but also motivated me to continue learning and growing in this area.

In conclusion, I’m grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this training program. It’s been an excellent learning experience that I know will benefit me in my role and beyond. I look forward to applying what I’ve learned and continuing to build on the skills I’ve gained. And I'm very appreciate about this opportunity with your University, and I will develop myself to contribute to my University, as well as the cooperation between VJU and Hosei University
