【イベント告知】法政大学グローバル教養学部（GIS）独自オープンキャンパス「オープンデイ」の開催（2026/6/28） / Open day event（2026/6/28）

GISでは、受験生・保護者、高等学校の先生方、塾・予備校関係者を対象に、独自のオープンキャンパスを以下のとおり開催します。2026年度総合型選抜（自己推薦入試）の結果および2027年度4月入学者を対象とした入試制度（一般選抜入試の変更点、大学入学共通テスト利用入試C方式の導入を含む）についても、GISの教職員が詳しくご説明します。ぜひご参加ください。
（３）参加申込方法
以下の参加申込フォームより、6月26日までにお申し込みください（先着500名）。
※定員に達し次第、締切となります
※フォームの送信をもって予約は完了となります。
※回答後、フォームを送信した代表者のメールアドレスに、回答内容が自動的に送信されます。
※一部時間帯において、個別相談の別途申込が必要です。 個別相談の事前予約は、5月7日（木）12時より受付を開始いたします。

（４）当日スケジュール（予定）
＜入場について＞
入場時は、参加者の本人確認は行いません。イベント当日は、外濠校舎6階 薩埵ホールにそのままお越しください。
場合により本人確認を行う場合がございますので、参加申込フォームの回答画面（自動送信メール）を破棄しないでください。
（５）個別相談（事前予約制）の申込について
一部の時間帯において、個別相談の事前予約が必要となります。
フリーの時間帯については、事前予約は不要ですが、当日の混雑状況により待ち時間が発生する可能性があること、ご了承ください。
【申込方法】
事前予約は、5月7日（木）12時より受付を開始いたします。
指定の時間帯ごとに定員3組（先着順）となります。定員に達し次第、申込受付を終了いたします。
開始時間までに、必ず薩埵ホールにお集まりください。

（１０）学部長からのメッセージ
今年も昨年に引き続き、GIS独自のオープンデーを開催いたします。
GIS（グローバル教養学部）は、将来のグローバルリーダーを育成することをミッションとしています。そのミッションのもと、本学部では英語でリベラルアーツ教育を行い、リーダーに求められる幅広い知識、多角的な視野、論理的思考力、そして世界の多様な人々と協働する力を養っています。
現在、GISが実施している主な入試方式には、一般選抜（A方式）、総合型選抜、学校推薦型選抜、大学入学共通テスト利用入試B、そして新たに導入される大学入学共通テスト利用入試C（6科目・7科目型）があります。
2027年度入試より、英語外部利用入試は廃止され、新たに共通テスト利用入試Cが導入されます。また、A方式は引き続き実施しますが、英語外部試験のスコア換算方法が大きく変更されています。受験を検討される皆さんには、ぜひこの機会を通して、それぞれの入試制度の趣旨と特徴を正確に理解していただきたいと思います。
これらの入試方式の中で、最も募集人員が多いのは総合型選抜です。総合型選抜は、受験生が持つ資質や能力を、現在の英語力だけでなく、入学後にどこまで成長できるかという可能性も含めて、多面的かつ総合的に評価する入試です。そのためGISは、これまでも多様な背景、多彩な経験、そして異なる強みを持つ学生たちを受け入れてきました。私たちは、その多様性こそが、英語によるリベラルアーツ教育をより豊かにし、学生同士が互いに刺激を受けながら成長していく原動力になると考えています。
GISは2008年に設立され、今年で19年目を迎えます。近年では、多くの大学が英語学位プログラムを掲げるようになりました。しかし、「学部」という教育単位において、長年にわたり一貫して英語による学士教育を実践し、その成果と運営の蓄積を有している大学は、首都圏においてもなお限られています。 それは、英語で授業を行えば足りるというものではなく、教育課程の設計、学生支援、進路支援、学修環境の整備に至るまで、日本語による教育とは全く異なる高度な運営の蓄積が求められるからです。GISは、その実績と経験を着実に積み重ねてきました。
そして、私たちは今後、これまで以上に時代の変化と社会の要請に応えながら、国内外を問わず英語を共通言語として活用し、グローバル基準の知識と教養、実践的なスキル、そして確かなマインドをもって、世界の人々と堂々と渡り合い、グローバル社会の発展に貢献できる人材を育成してまいります。単に英語ができる人を育てるのではありません。英語を手段として用い、自ら考え、他者と協働し、課題を発見し、社会に価値を生み出すことのできる人材を育てることこそが、GISの目指す教育です。
また、卒業後の進路支援についても、私たちは一層力を入れています。日系グローバル企業、外資系企業、海外大学院、さらには起業といった多様な進路に向けて、GISではGGLIとGSASという二本の柱を通して、学生一人ひとりの挑戦と成長を力強く支えていきます。大学での学びは卒業で終わるものではありません。GISは、学生たちがその先の社会でリーダーとして歩んでいくための基盤を築く場でありたいと考えています。
オープンデーを通して、受験生・保護者の皆さまに、GISの教育理念、学びの特色、そして私たちが育てようとしている人物像について、より深くご理解いただければ幸いです。
これからの時代に求められるのは、変化を前にしてもひるまず、自ら学び、考え、行動し、世界と向き合うことのできる人材です。GISは、そのような志を持つ皆さんを歓迎します。

We are pleased to announce that GIS will once again host its own Open Day this year, following last year’s successful event.
The Faculty of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies (GIS) is dedicated to educating the next generation of global leaders. To achieve this mission, we offer a liberal arts education in English that fosters the broad knowledge, multiple perspectives, logical thinking, and collaborative ability required to lead in today’s global society.
GIS currently offers several main admissions routes, including the General Entrance Examination (A方式), Comprehensive Selection（総合型選抜）, School Recommendation-Based Admission（指定校）, Common Test-based Admission B（共通テスト利用入試B）, and the newly introduced Common Test-based Admission C（共通テスト利用入試C）, based on six or seven subjects.
From the 2027 admissions cycle, the admission route based on external English proficiency tests（英語外部試験利用入試） will be discontinued, and Common Test-based Admission C will be introduced. In addition, while Type A（A方式）will continue, the method for converting external English test scores has been substantially revised. For those considering applying to GIS, this Open Day will be an important opportunity to gain a clear and accurate understanding of the purpose and features of each admissions pathway.
Among these pathways, the largest number of places is allocated to the Comprehensive Selection route（総合型選抜）. This admissions process evaluates applicants in a multifaceted and holistic way, taking into account not only their current level of English proficiency, but also their potential for further growth after enrollment. As a result, GIS has welcomed students with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and strengths. We believe that such diversity enriches the educational environment and plays a vital role in helping students learn from one another and grow together.
Founded in 2008, GIS is now in its nineteenth year. In recent years, many universities in Japan have launched English-degree programs. Even so, institutions with a sustained record of offering bachelor's degrees in English at the faculty level remain rare, even in the Tokyo metropolitan area. This is because successful English-medium education requires more than simply teaching classes in English; it also demands long-term expertise in curriculum design, student support, career guidance, and the development of an academic environment in which students can truly flourish. GIS has steadily built that experience over many years.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to nurturing individuals who can use English as a shared language both in Japan and internationally, and who possess globally relevant knowledge, practical skills, sound judgment, and the confidence to engage with people around the world. Our aim is not simply to develop students who are proficient in English, but to cultivate individuals who can think independently, work collaboratively, identify challenges, and create value in society.
We are also strengthening our support for students’ futures after graduation. Through two major pillars, GGLI and GSAS, GIS supports students as they pursue a wide range of pathways, including careers in globally active Japanese companies, multinational corporations, overseas graduate schools, and entrepreneurship. We see GIS not simply as a place of study, but as a foundation for leadership and growth beyond university.
We hope that this Open Day will offer prospective students and their families a valuable opportunity to learn more about the educational philosophy of GIS, the distinctive features of our academic environment, and the kind of individuals we seek to develop.
