I am Yuika, a Junior at GIS. I love anime, manga, V-tubers, Vocaloid, and more. My academic interests include gender studies, international relations, and politics. For me, GIS is a place for growth. I discovered this department in high school when I wanted to explore subjects like economics, environmental studies, and psychology, which I couldn’t delve into deeply before.
One of the best things about GIS is the opportunity to learn from a wide range of disciplines. You can study what interests you and even discover new passions. For example, I’ve recently developed an interest in linguistics, something I never thought I’d enjoy!

I entered GIS through a designated school recommendation program and had obtained the Eiken Pre-1st Grade qualification before enrolling. My main international experience was spending one month in Cebu, where I attended an English language school.
GIS is one of the few programs where you can take all of your classes in English. I’d like to support anyone who is currently exploring their future academic path and considering different options.
What I especially like about GIS is its small class sizes and liberal arts curriculum.
