The following is a speech by the GIS Dean in connection with transfer/entrance examinations

Message from the Dean

We are thrilled to announce that beginning in the academic year 2024, GIS will be introducing an entrance examination for transfer students. GIS is a prestigious educational institution that prides itself on integrating the latest academic theories and knowledge with an interdisciplinary perspective, and cultivating leaders who possess a global mindset, logical and critical thinking skills, and leadership abilities.

At GIS, we offer a diverse learning environment and wholeheartedly support each student's pursuit of self-actualization. Since all lectures are conducted in English, those interested in transferring to GIS must possess advanced English proficiency. However, we provide comprehensive assistance including a range of academic skills courses to help students acquire this skill and help them gain the most from their time with us.

Graduates of GIS have embarked on a wide range of career paths, including within Japanese global companies, foreign affiliated companies, entrepreneurship, and postgraduate studies overseas. Furthermore, GIS has an industry-academic collaboration organization known as GGLI, which is comprised of industry experts. This organization provides GIS students with exchange opportunities with active industry fellows and a program called GSAS, which supports those interested in pursuing postgraduate studies abroad. We are committed to offering strong assistance for students in their career endeavors.

Finally, we warmly welcome your interest in GIS and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to support you in your academic and personal growth. We vow to provide an unparalleled educational environment and unwavering support to help every student achieve their full potential.

Professor Fukuoka
GIS Dean
