藤野大樹さん（2021年3月卒業）
グローバル教養学部（GIS）を卒業し、現在は丸紅株式会社で洋上風力発電事業の開発に携わる卒業生にお話を伺いました。学生時代の取り組みや現在の仕事、そして将来の展望についてお聞きしました。
We recently spoke with Department of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies (GIS) graduate, Daiki Fujino, now working with the Marubeni Corporation developing offshore wind projects. We asked him about his time as a student, his current job, and plans for the future.

藤野大樹さん
現在の仕事内容について教えてください。/ Tell us about the work that you’re currently doing.
藤野さん：入社後3年間は電力業界における未開拓市場への参入や新規事業の開発業務を担当しました。現在は、国内および欧州における洋上風力発電事業の開発業務に従事しています。
Mr. Fujino: For my first three years at the company, I was responsible for entering previously untapped markets and developing new businesses in the energy industry. But currently, I’m part of the development of offshore wind projects in Europe and Japan.
なぜその業界や企業を選んだのですか？ / Why did you decide to choose this industry, this company?
藤野さん：世界に存在する格差をはじめとする多面的な課題をビジネスの観点から解決する仕事がしたいと考えていました。その中でも、現在の企業が掲げるビジョンに最も共感できたため、入社を決めました。
Mr. Fujino: I wanted a role with multifaceted challenges, and particularly those relating to global disparity, from a business perspective. When I looked at the options, I decided to join this company because I really aligned with their vision.
学生時代に力を入れていたことを教えてください。/ What direction did you take while you were a student? What was your focus?
藤野さん：ゼミと課外活動に力を入れていました。福岡ゼミで国際経営学を学び、ビジネスコンテストへの出場や長期インターンへの参加を通じて知識を体得しました。
Mr. Fujino: I focused primarily on my seminar classes and extracurriculars. I studied global managment as part of the Fukuoka Seminar, and I gained practical knowledge participating in business competitions and long-term internships.
GISでの学びが今の仕事にどう生きていますか？/ How has your time in GIS helped you in your current job?
藤野さん：商社の仕事では、多岐に及ぶ関係者との利害調整が求められます。国籍や業種が異なる関係者と関わる機会が多く、それぞれの立場に立って物事を考える必要があります。GISでも、国籍や専門分野が異なる教授や学生と日々議論する機会が多く、相手の目線で考えながらも自己主張をする経験を積んできました。この点において、GISでの学びが現在の仕事に生かされていると感じています。
Mr. Fujino: Working at a firm like Marubeni requires balancing the interests of various stakeholders. I often interact with people from different nationalities, different industries, and it requires me to consider issues from their perspectives. At GIS, I had opportunities for daily discussions with professors and students from diverse nationalities and fields of expertise, which helped me gain experience in asserting my own views while still seeing things from the other’s point of view. Especially with regards to this, I feel that what I learned in GIS applies directly to my current work.
職場の風景
今後のキャリアビジョンについて教えてください。/ Tell us about your future plans or career goals.
藤野さん：電力業界で専門性を磨きながらも、業界に固執することなく未開拓領域を率先して切り開き、先進的な市場のリーダーへと企業を導ける人材に成長していきたいと考えています。
Mr. Fujino: While I’m honing my skills in the power industry, I want to grow into a professional who can take the lead, breaking into areas that haven’t been explored, without being confined by the industry. I want to guide the company to become a leader in markets on the cutting edge.
GISの好きなところを教えてください。/ What do you like most about the GIS program?
藤野さん：教授・学生ともに多様な背景を持ち、フラットな関係性の中で盛んに意見交換ができる環境が魅力です。
Mr. Fujino: What’s so appealing is that with professors and students from so many diverse backgrounds, everyone can exchange ideas in an informal setting on even ground.
GIS生を目指す高校生にメッセージをお願いします。/ Do you have anything you’d like to share with high school students who might be interested in GIS?
藤野さん：GISは可能性に満ち溢れる環境です。たとえ三日坊主でも、挑戦したことはきっと素敵な経験に変わると思います。自身のコンフォートゾーンから飛び出し、失敗を恐れずに、ぜひ気軽にいろいろなことにチャレンジしてみてください！
Mr. Fujino: GIS is full of possibilities. Even if you decide it’s not for you after only a few days, I’m sure the experience will be worth it. Step outside of your comfort zone! Don’t be afraid to fail, and always be willing to give it a try!
