GISでは、受験生・保護者、高等学校の先生方、塾・予備校関係者を対象に、独自のオープンキャンパスを以下のとおり開催します。2024年度4月入学生から開始した新しい総合型選抜（自己推薦入試）の結果を含む2026年度4月入学者を対象とした入試制度、および2027年度4月入学者を対象とした新入試制度についても、GISの教員が詳しくご説明します。ぜひご参加ください。

現在、GISが提供する入試方式には、主に一般選抜、総合型選抜、学校推薦型選抜、共通テスト利用入試Bがあります。
その内、総合型選抜を、2024年度入試から「受験生が持つ資質や能力（現在の英語力および入学後の英語力向上の可能性を含む）をより多面的な視点で評価し、より総合的に判断することを可能とする方式」に変更いたしました。
この変更により、様々なバックグランドと様々な強みを持つ学生がこの2年間に多く入学し、設立以来、使命としてきた「多様性に富む学習環境」がより充実いたしました。
2027年度からは、市場の変化に伴い、一般選抜において、英語外部利用入試を廃止し、A方式の換算スコアを変更するとともに、共通テスト利用入試C（6教科7科目型）を導入する予定です。

私たちは2008年に設立されました。今年で設立18年目になりますが、この間、多くの経験とノウハウが蓄積されています。
私たちは、それらを活かしながら、時代の変化や要請に対応すべく、これまで以上に「国内外問わず、英語を共通言語として活用し、グローバル基準の知識・教養、実践的スキルとマインドをもって堂々と世界の人々と渡り合うことができ、グローバル社会の発展に貢献できる魅力あるリーダー」を育てていきます。
また、卒業後の進路支援として、日系グローバル企業、外資系企業、海外大学院、起業などへの就職・進学についても、これまで以上にGGLIやGSASの二本の柱を通して、サポートいたします。
私たちは、GISがなぜ英語でリベラルアーツ教育を行っているのかをより多くの受験生に深く理解してもらい、その上で出願して頂きたいと考えています。また、合格し入学した際には、GISの充実した学習環境のもと、飛躍的な成長を遂げることを心から願っております。

Currently, GIS offers several pathways for admission into our programs of study: through the General Entrance Examination（一般選抜）, the Comprehensive Admission process (総合型選抜), the School Recommendation-based Admission（指定校推薦）and the Common Test  （共通テスト）Type B Entrance Examination.

Among these, we revised the Comprehensive Admission Procedure for students enrolled in April 2024 to allow for a more holistic evaluation of each applicant’s qualities and capabilities, including both their current English proficiency and their potential for further improvement after enrollment.

This revision has enabled a greater number of students with diverse backgrounds and strengths to join our community over the past two years, significantly enriching the diverse learning environment that has been our mission since GIS was founded.

Looking ahead to the 2027 academic year, in response to broader changes in the educational landscape, we plan to discontinue the English-proficiency-based entrance examination （英語外部利用入試）. We will also revise the converted score for Method A（A方式）, one of the general entrance examinations, and introduce a new Common Test（共通テスト）Type C, which will require six subjects and seven test components.

This year marks the 18^th year of our establishment, Since our founding in 2008, GIS has steadily built up a wealth of experience and expertise. Drawing on this foundation, we are committed to adapting to the evolving needs of society. Our mission remains clear: to cultivate globally competent, dynamic leaders—regardless of nationality—who can engage confidently with the world using English as a common language, who are equipped with international standards of knowledge, critical thinking skills, practical skills, an open mindset, and who can effectively contribute to the development of a just global society.

In terms of career support, we will continue to strengthen our dual support systems—GGLI for employment and GSAS for graduate studies— towards the aim of helping our students advance into careers at global Japanese corporations, international firms, overseas graduate schools, or even starting their own businesses based on the spirit of entrepreneurship.

At GIS, we believe it is essential that prospective students truly understand why we offer a liberal arts education in English. We hope that all applicants will take time to reflect on our vision and values before applying. For the students who are admitted to the GIS Faculty and who choose to join us, we sincerely look forward to seeing you grow and thrive in the rich academic environment we are proud to provide.
