What is GGLI? (English/日本語)

GGLI is an organization established within the Faculty of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies (GIS) of Hosei University on April 1, 2023. Its main goal is to enable GIS students to learn about social issues and challenges both domestically and internationally through collaboration with the business world, from a global perspective and a practical viewpoint, and to find ways to solve them. Additionally, GGLI aims to help students develop careers that contribute to a better future and society by utilizing the knowledge and experience they have gained.
To achieve these goals, GGLI regularly holds lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and other events primarily for GIS students, led by outstanding leaders active in the business world (GGLI Fellows). GGLI Fellows are made up of exceptional leaders working in foreign-affiliated companies, local corporations, or entrepreneurs, as well as individuals who have experience working for or with Japanese Government bodies. GGLI plans to increase the number of Fellows counter in its membership in the future.

GGLIは2023年4月1日に法政大学GIS（グローバル教養学部）（以下、GIS）内に設置された組織です。産業界等との連携を通して、主に法政大学GIS生（以下、GIS生）が、①グローカルな視点及び現実的かつ実践的な観点から、国内外における社会問題・課題の発見及びその解決方法等を学び 、②そこから得た知見や経験を活かし、より良い未来と社会の実現に寄与するキャリアを形成することを目的としています。
その目的を達成するため、GGLIは主にGIS生を対象に、産業界等で活躍している方（GGLIフェロー）による講義・講演、ワークショップ、パネルディスカッション等を定期的に開催します。なお、GGLIフェローは、産業界等で活躍する実務家（外資系企業勤務/経験者、現地法人勤務/経験者、起業家/起業経験者）、政府系機関勤務/経験者等で構成されており、今後、順次増やしていく予定です。
