5月17日にGIS TALKSを開催しました。今回のゲストスピーカーは、GIS学部の助教授であるJoel教授でした。当日は20名以上の学生が参加し、熱心にJoel教授の講演を聞いていました。
GISでは、様々な分野で活躍されている教授をゲストスピーカーとして招き、在学生向けに定期的にGIS TALKSを開催しています。このイベントは、普段の講義とは異なる雰囲気や内容で、学生たちがより深く各分野に興味・関心を持つきっかけとなります。

A GIS Talk was held on May 17th. The speaker for this month was our very own Professor Joel Van Fossen. More than 20 students were in attendance to hear his talk, which was given with real enthusiasm.
GIS regularly holds GIS TALK events for students by inviting professors who are active in various fields as guest speakers. GIS TALKS have an atmosphere and content that differs to regular classroom lectures, and they provide a chance for students to gain a deeper interest in other fields.
