Campus Life

Alex C.

Hi everyone! My name is Alex. I am a Junior at GIS. My hobby is skiing, and I work as a ski instructor in winter. I know some students are unsure about what to do in university and after graduation. If you are like this, GIS is the best place to find your path. Taking classes from different disciplines is essential in GIS, allowing students to find and develop new interests. Taking different kinds of courses in English also helps us broaden our view of the world and gives us more choices for the future. The students at GIS have different backgrounds and are open-minded, which makes it easy to make friends. To make your 4-year university life meaningful, there is no better choice than GIS. I hope to see you sometime in the future!

Akari K.

Hi everyone! My name is Akari. I am in my 4th year at GIS. I usually spend my leisure time painting, reading books, and working out. Also, as an owner of 24 birds, I enjoy time playing with them as well. GIS is a place to realize your passion and the best place to challenge yourself through a diverse range of classes and experiences. The small class sizes and discussions enable you to have a deeper understanding of your interests. Moreover, everyone is very welcoming! Preparing for the entrance exams and interviews may be tough at times, but there will be a day when your efforts pay off. If you are a person who enjoys seeking an active role in your studies and having new experiences, then GIS is a place where you can develop your potential. Open-mindedness and a hint of curiosity is the key to success!

Hikaru Y.

Hi everyone! My name is Hikaru. I am in my 4th year at GIS. I like to play sports—I especially enjoy snowboarding in winter. If you are considering what kind of university life you want to experience, regardless of whether you’ve already decided or not, GIS is here for you. Learning in GIS has been a real eye-opening experience for me. Its liberal arts program has deepened my knowledge and presented me with diverse and important perspectives on the world. I consider GIS the best place to be a university student. GIS requires students to use English throughout its many courses, but you can succeed, as long as you are eager to learn. Stay enthusiastic and immerse yourself with us in a world of knowledge yet to be discovered!

Daisuke I.

Hi this is Daisuke! I'm a sophomore at GIS, nice to meet you! This department provides an attractive environment where everyone is friendly, and continuous discussions are held. Equal exchange of opinions is encouraged, and opinions from any standpoint are taken seriously in an extremely sociable learning environment. The quality of the faculty here is also very high, and thanks to the benefits of small class sizes, the distance between students and instructors is very close, so you can receive prompt support if you have any questions or concerns. In addition, in classes and projects, students with different backgrounds collaborate, providing diverse perspectives on issues. This diversity offers us the opportunity to think about things from a broader perspective and grow. That's why I love this department the most!
