2026年2月6日、マレーシアのマラ工科大学（UiTM）ペナン校より、SA/gPBLプログラムディレクターのAzlan Othman准教授をはじめ
4名の教員が法政大学を来訪し、歓迎式典を開催しました。
UiTMペナン校からはRashidy Razali学長および国際交流担当者がオンラインで参加しました。
本学からはコー・ダイアナ総長をはじめ、副学長、グローバル教育センター長、理工学部長などが出席し、
一般協定およびSA協定の更新にあわせて、これまでの交流を振り返るとともに、今後の連携について意見交換を行いました。
UiTMペナン校と本学理工学部は2025年3月に一般協定およびSA協定を締結し、同年9月には夏季SAプログラムとしてUiTMペナン校で
実施されたグローバルPBL（gPBL）に、本学理工学部の学生12名が参加しました。本プログラムでは、ロボットやプログラミングを活用し、
海外大学の学生と混成チームを編成して課題解決に取り組み、英語による成果発表も行いました。
2026年夏にも、本学理工学部・生命科学部の夏季SAプログラムとして、学生がUiTMペナン校でのgPBLに参加する予定です。
今後も本学は、国際連携のもとで実践的な理工系教育の充実に取り組んでいきます。
UiTM Pulau Pinang (Malaysia) Pays Courtesy Visit to Hosei University; Welcome Ceremony Held
On February 6, 2026, four faculty members from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pulau Pinang, including Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Nor Azlan Othman, Director of the SA/gPBL Program,
visited Hosei University, where a welcome ceremony was held. Rector Prof.
Dato' Ir. Dr. Hj. Ahmad Rashidy Razali and an officer in charge of international affairs from UiTM Pulau Pinang participated online.
From Hosei University, President Diana Khor, along with Vice Presidents, the Director of the Global Education Center, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering,
and other representatives, attended the ceremony. During the event, participants reflected on past exchanges and discussed future collaboration between the two institutions,
and the occasion also marked progress toward the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).
Hosei University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering signed a partnership agreement with UiTM Pulau Pinang on March 12, 2025. In September 2025,
twelve students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering participated in the Global Project-Based Learning (gPBL) program at UiTM Pulau Pinang as part of the Summer SA Program.
In this program, students formed mixed teams with students from overseas universities, worked on problem-solving projects using robotics and programming,
and delivered final presentations in English.
In the summer of 2026, students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Faculty of Bioscience and Applied Chemistry are scheduled to
participate in the gPBL program at UiTM Pulau Pinang as part of the Summer SA Program.
Hosei University will continue to enhance practical engineering education with an international perspective through sustained institutional collaboration.
