Department of Business Strategy: Aiming at Fostering Individuals Shouldering Global Strategy Formulation and Business Creation
In the Department of Business Strategy, based on the globalization of economic activity and the rise in importance of strategic decision making in corporations, we attempt to foster individuals equipped with global strategy formulation skills. In recent years, some opinions have pointed out delays in the global strategies of Japanese corporations or the stagnation of new business foundation. In order to overcome such problems, what is necessary is the ability to explore new corporate activities based on international and historic viewpoints and knowledge along with proper analytical tools. Thus, in the Department, we offer specialized subjects necessary for development of such skills, such as international management, corporate strategy, history of corporations or industries, and management analysis.
