The Hosei University Research Center for Micro-Nano Technology takes the lead in researching nanotechnology, which has been expected to overcome the limitations of existing technologies. Our tremendous research activities, including areas of nano-mechatronics, nano material, nano electronics, and nano bio technology, are based on the founding spirit of Hosei University, "freedom and progress".
Our final goal is to resolve energy issues and make efficient use of limited natural resources in order to form and preserve a safe and secure social environment and to build a sustainable world in which further development of industries and the realization of an enjoyable society in which to live are attained in a balanced manner. We aim to develop technologies for practical application through both basic and applied research on green technologies such as unique energy generation and conversion systems, the utilization of valuable constituents using biomass and the functions of microorganisms, and environmental clean-up systems.
