Class Implementation Policy in the 2023 Academic Year (Update No. 2)

In line with the announcement on December 12, 2022, regarding Policies for Holding Classes during AY 2023 (Update No. 1), classes during the 2023 academic year will be held basically in-person. However, some classes will be online, including those that are expected to benefit from online education.
In the 2023 academic year, we will continue to develop educational activities on campus while paying maximum attention to infection prevention.
We ask that international students enter Japan in time for the start of the new semester.
In principle, students who are unable to physically attend classes, for example students who have underlying illnesses, will be guaranteed the option to take online classes, apart for some subjects for which the educational purpose cannot be achieved without in-person teaching.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
If our class policy should be altered due to future changes in the infection situation, we will make a prompt announcement on our website.
