[Note]

  1. The entrance ceremony is divided into morning and afternoon sessions depending on the faculty the student is enrolling in.
    Each student should attend the entrance ceremony that corresponds to the faculty they’re enrolling in. Students may not participate in the entrance ceremony that’s not intended for their corresponding faculty.
  2. Due to the current novel coronavirus, only one attendant can participate the ceremony per graduate student. Students and attendants are required to bring their admission pass to the venue.
  3. Areas surrounding the venue will become extremely congested on the day of the ceremony. We suggest you arrive early.
  4. For details on the ceremony and schedule, please refer to the “New Student Information.”
  5. Please use public transportation to come to the venue. You may not park your car at the venue.
    To alleviate congestion, please also refrain from gathering inside the station or near the ticket gate.
  6. Soliciting and distributing leaflets to advertise an organization including student clubs on the Budokan grounds or near the grounds are prohibited.
  7. Smoking is prohibited in the Nippon Budokan and Kitanomaru Park area.
  8. For those who are unable to attend the ceremony, we will provide a live streaming of the ceremony via the internet that can be accessed through a device such as a PC or smartphone. We will post more details on our homepage when the date nears. (Guidance of Live Streaming was published in March 15th.)
  9. The ceremony may get canceled depending on the progression of the novel coronavirus. If this happens, we will immediately notify on our website.

[Request for Cooperation in Preventing the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus]

  1. You should pay sufficient caution to manage their own health and prevent the spread of infection such as by always wearing a mask and refraining from having conversations inside the building, and practicing social distancing and avoiding gathering with others in hallways, restrooms, etc. We appreciate your cooperation.
  2. Please take your temperature at home and confirm your normal temperature on the day of the ceremony. If you are experiencing a fever or cough, or feeling sick in anyway, please do not come to the venue.
  3. Those who have flu symptoms must refrain from arriving at the venue.
