[Note]

  • Due to the current novel coronavirus, people other than the graduates are asked to refrain from participating in the ceremony. Graduates are required to bring their student ID card to the venue.
  • Areas surrounding the venue will become extremely congested on the day of the ceremony. We suggest you arrive early.
  • Please use public transportation to come to the venue. You may not park your car at the venue.
    To alleviate congestion, please also refrain from gathering inside the station or near the ticket gate.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the Nippon Budokan and Kitanomaru Park area.
  • After the main ceremony, individual diploma conferral ceremonies will be held for each college/graduate school. Diplomas will be issued in exchange for your student ID and graduate student card. For details, please refer to the reference materials that will be distributed on the day of the ceremony.
  • For those who are unable to attend the ceremony, we will provide a live streaming of the ceremony via the internet that can be accessed through a device such as a PC or smartphone. We will post more details on our homepage when the date nears.
  • The ceremony may get canceled depending on the progression of the novel coronavirus. If this happens, we will immediately notify on our homepage.

[Request for Cooperation in Preventing the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus]

  1. Students should pay sufficient caution to manage their own health and prevent the spread of infection such as by always wearing a mask and refraining from having conversations inside the building, and practicing social distancing and avoiding gathering with others in hallways, restrooms, etc. During the ceremony, all attendees will be seated at a set distance from each other. We appreciate your cooperation.
  2. Please take your temperature at home and confirm your normal temperature on the day of the ceremony. If you are experiencing a fever or cough, or feeling sick in anyway, please do not come to the venue.
  3. Those who are experiencing any of the following must refrain from arriving at the venue:
    Flu symptoms; a fever of 37.5°C or above that lasts for several days; strong symptoms of shortness of breath, dullness, high fever, etc.; any other symptoms of not feeling well; close association with people who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
  4. We hope that each one of us will make careful decisions in preventing viral infections and dissemination.
