Research Institute

The predecessor of the Research Institute for Innovation Management was the Center for Business and Industrial Research, established in 1986. The former Center was modeled after Harvard University’s Baker Library, and as the first deposit library in Japan accepted literature relating to economics and business management .
As of January 1, 2004, the Center for Business and Industrial Research was renamed the Research Institute for Innovation Management. The Institute collects data, it also analyzes the innovation trends of other countries and studies international business management.
