The Faculty of Social Sciences of Hosei University, with regard to the complexities of national and international relationships, was founded and developed not as a simple means of studying society and the problems it continually faces to.
Instead, the faculty, from a diverse and interdisciplinary perspective analyzes and examines issues with flexibility in its approach in its aim of nurturing individuals and professionals who can contribute the realization of a better society. The Faculty includes the Department of Policy Science on Society, the Department of Sociology, and the Department of Media and Communication Studies.
