Note for Japanese Classes:

  1. Placement test will be given for the above upon students' arrival in Japan; it is expected that 10-11 courses of the 20 will be offered, dependent on the results of the test.
  2. The above classes are intended for beginner through intermediate levels.
  3. The higher the number reflects the greater difficulty....thus Japanese 2 is more difficult than 1, Japanese 3 more than 2 etc.
  4. Students with superior Japanese language ability are considered eligible to take advanced Japanese language courses in the regular faculty curricula.
