Hosei International Fund (HIF) Foreign Scholars Fellowship Program
In 1980, Hosei University in anticipation of the 100th anniversary of its founding, established the Hosei International Fund (HIF) with donations from staff, students, graduates and the business
world in order to advance international cooperation.
The HIF Foreign Scholars Fellowship Program is one undertaking covered by this fund.
The HIF Foreign Scholars Fellowship Program is a program where are young scholars from abroad who are enrolled in a doctoral degree program or hold an equivalent degree are provided an opportunity to carry out non-degree research programs at Hosei University under the direction of and/or in cooperation with Hosei University faculty and researchers. Calls for application are made and scholarships are offered to young scholars from abroad who can be expected to contribute research results and to the development of the university's research capabilities through cooperative research with Hosei University faculty.
