Hamamura Akira, Executive Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1953. Faculty of Law professor. Graduated from the Hosei University Faculty of Law in 1975 and completed his masters at the university's Graduate School of Sociology in 1978. Then earned his doctorate at the university's Graduate School of Sociology in 1984. Worked as a professor in the Ryutsu Keizai University Department of Sociology in 1988, then became a Faculty of Law professor at Hosei University (a post which he continues today) in 1994, served as the Dean of Students at the university from 2002-2004 and the Dean of Law at the university from 2007-2008.

Kato Yutaka, Executive Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1947. Faculty of Engineering professor. Graduated from the Keio University Department of Engineering in 1970 and earned his Ph.D. in engineering from the same university in 1975. Began as a professor in Hosei University's Faculty of Engineering in 1988 (and continues in the post to the present).

Hoshino Tsutomu, Executive Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1948. Faculty of Letters professor. Graduated from the Tokyo University Faculty of Letters in 1972 and completed his masters at the university's Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology in 1975, and then completed his Ph.D. at the university's Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology in 1977. Began as a professor in Hosei University's Faculty of Letters in 1992 (and continues in the post to the present), and served as the Dean of Students at the university from 1997-1999, the Dean of Letters from 2003-2005, head of the International Japan Studies Institute from 2004-2008 and the head of the Center for International Japan Studies from 2008 (and continues in the post to the present).

Tokuyasu Akira, Executive Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1956. Faculty of Social Sciences professor. Graduated from the Tokyo University Faculty of Letters in 1980 and completed his masters at the university's Institute of Social Science in 1982, and then completed his Ph.D. at the university's Institute of Social Science in 1986. Began as a professor in Hosei University's Faculty of Social Sciences in 1996 (and continues in the post to the present).

Kawabata Terutaka, Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1940. Special consultant to Japan Information Processing Development Corporation. Graduated from Hosei University's Faculty of Business Administration in 1963. Also joined the staff of the Sankei Shinbun in 1963. President of Computer Age Co., Ltd. In 1971 (worked as an advisor to the company until 2007), trustee of Industrial Research Center from 1992-2008, and president of ECS Co., Ltd. from 1992-2003. Acted as an auditor for Hosei University from 1999-2002 and became a board of trustee member in 2002 (and continues in the post to the present).

Okada Yasuhiro, Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1936. President of Showa Consulting. Graduated from the Hosei University Faculty of Economics in 1959. Joined Yamakano Securities (New Japan Securities Co., Ltd., presently known as Shinko Securities Co., Ltd.) in 1959, and was made head of the financial division of New Japan Securities Co., Ltd. in 1984, and was successively made managing director of the same company in 1988. President of New Japan Enterprise Co., ltd. in 1994 and established Showa consulting and became its president in 2000 (and continues in the post to the present).

Furusawa Toshisuke, Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1939. Graduated from Hosei University's Faculty of Business Administration in 1963. Joined Showa Aircraft Industry Co., Ltd. in 1963 and was made head of the company's general operations division in 1999 and 2001 and became the managing director of the company in 2002, and served as an advisor to the company beginning in 2004 (until 2006). Acted as an auditor for Hosei University from 2005-2008.

Funakoshi Makoto, Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1943. Managing director of the Motorboat Racing Promotion Center. Graduated from Hosei University's Faculty of Business Administration in 1966. He joined the Japan Shipbuilding Industry Foundation in 1966, and became an auditor for the organization in 1994 (left the post in 1999). Served as a director for the Motorboat Racing Public Relations Center from 2002-2008. Currently serves as an auditor of the Japan foundation for promotion of maritime sciences, an auditor for the motorboat racing preservation society, and an auditor for the Sasakawa Sports Foundation.

Enomoto Katsumi, Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1950. Principal of Hosei University Daini Junior/Senior High School. Graduated from the Hosei University Faculty of Letters in 1973 and completed his masters at Rikkyo University's Graduate School of the Arts in 1976, and then completed his Ph.D. at the university's Graduate School of the Arts in 1984. Became a social studies instructor at Hosei University Daini Junior/Senior High School in 1989 (a high school instructor), and became the vice principal of the school in 2005 and the principal in 2008 (and continues in the post to the present).

Yamaga Tatsuo, Member of the Board of Trustees

Born in 1952. Graduated from Hosei University's Faculty of Letters in 1976. Employed with Hosei University in 1976, became the head of the Finance and Accounting department's Finance and Accounting section in 1998, and the head of the Academic Affairs section in the Academic Affairs department at the university in 2004, then the head of the Academic Affairs department in 2005 and the head of the Academic Support department in 2008 (left the post in 2008).

Auditors

Moriwaki Hidehiro, Auditor

Born in 1940. Graduated from the Hosei University Faculty of Economics in 1962. Join Nippon Express Co., Ltd. in 1962, was put made director of the Asia/Oceania region at the company in 1997, and managing director of the Asia/Oceania region at the company in 1999. Began serving as president of Nippon GATX Co., Ltd. in 2001 (which later changed its name to Nippon Vopak Co.,Ltd.) (left the post in 2005). Began as an auditor at Hosei University in 2005 (and continues in the post to the present).

Saito Tomoyoshi, Auditor

Born in 1953. A lawyer. Graduated from Hosei University's Faculty of Law in 1977. Registered as a lawyer in 1982, served as a councilor for the Judicial System Reform Promotion Prepatory Office (later changed to the Judicial System Reform Promotion Office) from 2001-2004, joined Shibuya Civic Law in 2004 and was made head of the law firm in 2005 (and continues in the post to the present). Began as an auditor at Hosei University in 2005 (and continues in the post to the present).

Kuramochi Tadashi, Auditor

Born in 1954. CEO of TKR Co., Ltd. Graduated from Hosei University's Faculty of Law in 1976. Joined Towa Co., Ltd. in 1976, founded and became president of Eitaka Trading Company in 1984, then founded and became chairman of the board of directors of TKR Co., Ltd. in 1988 and CEO in 2006 (and continues in the post to the present). Became a director of the Asia-Pacific Exchange Society in 2008 (and continues in the post to the present).
