Congratulations to Skating Club Athletes Suzuki and Toko!

December 5, 2013

Sena Suzuki and Ayaka Toko, both Hosei Skating Club athletes, have officially been chosen as members of the Japanese National Women’s Ice Hockey Team for the upcoming Sochi Olympics. They are fourth- and first-year students respectively in the Faculty of Sports and Health Studies.

Both players demonstrated their abilities and performed brilliantly as key team players on offense and defense during Olympic qualifying trials in the last competition season. The actual Olympic Games will give them the chance to play even more important roles.

In addition, many other members of the skating club have also become members of the Japanese national team during this competition season. This makes us feel excited about the coming latter half of the season.
